Parallelos

The parallelos symbol used by the Lunar Children.

Parallelos is a term used by the Lunar Children. In the simplest of terms, a parallelos is an alternate world. Parallelos can either simply be different planes of existence of our own world, or a completely new realm.

Types of Parallelos

There are many different types of parallelos.

Overworld

Our own parallelos, the realm of mankind. This is the world in which we live in and the one Luna wishes to descend into.

Sub Parallelos

A parallelos of complete darkness and silence. Most parallelos are said to have a sub parallelos version of themselves. Those who are experienced in traversing parallelos can utilize these 'pocket dimensions' to quickly move across and between parallelos.

Parallelos of Time

It is said that for every single moment in every single parallelos, there is parallelos made specifically for that moment. Powerful ascended Finitors can use these parallelos to travel through time.

Parallelos of the Ascended

This parallelos is where your consciousness is sent to directly after ascension. Depending on the ascended person's power they may travel to any parallelos from here but Luna's own parallelos.

Portals

Portals are man-made parallelos designed to house ascended souls. These are used to speak to those who have ascended so that man man learn more about other parallelos. Some examples of Portals are Johnisdead.com, YSHDT.com, and Wayward Horizon.

Parallelos of the Dead

This parallelos is a prison created for the deceased who have not ascended and followed the teachings of Luna and The Father.

Luna's Parallelos / 4th Realm

The parallelos that houses Luna and the Absque Facie that worship her. The Lunar Children see this place as sacred and holy, and it is said that Luna will descend and take all who are faithful to her parallelos during the end times.

The Parallelos Path

The Parallelos Path is a set of high level Lunar Child teachings. Patrem was the one who first introduced these teachings to man. Only very promising Lunar Children was chosen to learn the ways of the Parallelos Path. Below are different skills that those chosen few will learn.

Sub Traversing / Jumping

Travelling through various sub parallelos to quickly traverse or teleport around other parallelos.

Traversing

Entering a completely different parallelos. It is said that this can be very dangerous for the unprepared.

Scrying

Obtaining visions by looking into other parallelos. One can even look through time using this method, though overuse can cause damage to one's mental health or even blindness. Scrying can also be accomplished by using devices, though they aren't as accurate. It's possible this is what happened to Kelbris.

Listening

Those who are adept in the Parallelos Path can listen to the voices of the ascended who are in other parallelos. Much like with scrying, overuse of listening can cause one to go deaf. Devices can allow one to listen to other parallelos as well, though they are less accurate.
